If you are familiar with late 19th early 20th century American furniture you may also be familiar with a company called Danner which was in Canton, Ohio. They made some interesting bookcases, some with sliding doors and another style which revolved. This is a rotating revolving bookcase. I am not sure it was made by Danner as it is much fancier and higher quality than I would expect. Regardless it is an American quartersawn oak rotating bookstand, circa early 20th c., with rope twist molded edge, carved spandrels, three tiers with slatted sides, and on casters. Approximately 45"h, 21"w, 21"d I have sold many revolving bookcases in my nearly 50 years in business but none of them could match this piece. In excellent refinished condition.
