This is quite an unusual late Victorian oak ottoman or foot stool. Note the feet are carved boots or shoes. Neat and funny idea. Because of the shape of the surface this style was commonly called a gout stool. Piece has been refinished and also with new fabric. Appears never used. Approximately 15in.L .x 9 1/2in.H x 13in.W. Doubt you will ever see another like it.
