This is quite an interesting late Victorian piece. A late 19th Century Cast Iron Christmas Tree Stand & Wooden Christmas Picket Fence. Approximately 12" H stand made by the North Bros. Mfg. Co, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, mounted on 17" x 17" wooden board. The owner had added a neat picket fence around the exterior of the board. All original paint, etc. Iron mechanism works well and would function to hold a tree. Would be a interesting tabletop stand or as a center piece for your Christmas decorations.
