This is a rather rare piece of country store or department store furniture. In my over 50 years in business I believe I have had only two others. It is an oak sewing pattern cabinet which was used to hold dress patterns for sale to the public. This cabinet was used to sell McCall's patterns and has the original stenciling at the top. 15 drawers with glass fronts to display the patterns----or whatever you wish to put into the piece. Would make a wonderful piece for sewing room or for scrapbook enthusiast, or in your home office. Piece has retained its original finish and has a pretty smooth and even feel. Paneled sides and overall measures approximately 25 wide, 20 deep and 49.5 high. Each drawer also has its original cast iron pull which have an insert area for a paper label. The drawers are clean and odor free. Each drawer interior size is 6.0 wide, 18.0 deep, and 7.0 high. I have put a few patterns in the drawers just to give you an idea of the look of the piece; I don't think the patterns are complete and not really usable. Rare opportunity to own this type of multi drawer case.
