I sold several antique barber chairs over the years but this is probably the best I have ever had. A great oak barbers chair by Theo A. Koch Co. Chicago Ill. -- circa 1890s. This is the style of chair used before the porcelain chairs became popular. Completely restored with ornate carving on the oak, nickel plated fixtures, and a fabulous upholstering with dark maroon leather and nicely executed tufting. This chair is in excellent condition and ready for your office, home, or man cave. All mechanics function properly including the hydraulics. Chair will rise, turn, and also fold back as your want. I might mention just for accuracy that the flash on the camera makes the leather appears rather brighter than it really is----true color is a dark maroon. Overall size of the piece is 44 tall, 24 wide, and 30 deep. I don't think you will find a nicer chair for sale.
